We are looking forward to an exhibition of Alan Watson's very large works, a creative response to George Mackay Brown's story 'The Sea-King's Daughter' (1991) which relates to the death of Alexander 3rd in March 1286 near Kinghorn and the fateful voyage of the young Princess Margaret, Alexander 3rds grandaughter, aged 7, daughter of the King of Norway and  Alexander's daughter Margaret. The powerful panels depict a turbulent constititional crisis and will be on display at Traquair House High Gallery, by Innerleithen, from 14th August 2022 to 30th September 2022. This exhibition is being organised by Beyond Borders Festival Team, Traquair. if you would like further information please do use the contact form at this website or contact Beyond Borders Festival Team. https://www.beyondbordersscotland.com/about-us/contact/
