Happy New Year to you all.
Last year Dundee Council accepted a donation of 7 of Alan's drawings from his successful whaling exhibition from 1989. Our family has also agreed Ancestral Triptych belongs to the Scottish Fisheries Museum, Anstruther. The fisher ancestors love living in the Zulu Gallery. Don't miss Night Haul in the boatyard. It's a very powerful painting.
I hope you will all enjoy the works going forward, Pat
Looking forward to a new exhibition of Alan Watson's colourful Fife landscapes:

Artist’s legacy celebrated with exhibition of Fife landscapes
Matthew Jarron, the University’s Museum Curator, said, “Alan’s work has a powerful, expressive quality that is immediately apparent in both his figurative and landscape scenes.
“These later works show him painting in bold colours and using collage to experiment with form and texture. The results are absolutely stunning and we are delighted to be showing them.”
The exhibition runs from Saturday 5 October until Friday 20 December 2024 and is open Monday to Friday 9:30 – 19:00, and Saturday from 11:00 – 16:00. Admission is free.
